User IDs for computers in Nobeyama Radio Observatory / Solar Network Nework management group service@solar.nro.nao.ac.jp April 1, 2002 We will give a temporal user ID on our computer system in NRO/SolarNet to anybody who wants to study the astronomical/solar plasma physics by using the Nobeyama data (Radioheliograph, Radio Polarimeters etc). 1) Your user ID will be expired on March 31 every year. You can avoid this expiration by telling us that you want an extension of your account when we give you the warning every February. 2) We will remove all the data of the expired IDs from our hard disks after moving them to the tape. 3) We do NOT certificate your data in any sense, e.g. in case of hardware trouble, etc. Please take your back-up by yourself. 4) There is a possibility to stop your account for reasons of our own. 5) We sometimes stop the system due to the maintenances though we do not always tell you beforehand. 6) The users should acknowledge the usage of our system when you write a paper by using our system.
