Abstract

Daily radio imaging observations of the full disk intensity and circular polarization have been made with the Nobeyama Radioheliograph since July 1992. The observations cover the declining phase of Solar Cycle 22 and the very beginning of Solar Cycle 23.
The Nobeyama Radioheliograph is a radio interferometer operating 17 GHz (and 34 GHz since November 1995). The spatial resolution of the interferometer is 10 seconds of arc. The field of view covers the whole Sun. Daily observation is roughly from 23 UT to 07 UT. The time resolution is one second in the routine mode and 50 ms for bursts.
In this report, we present daily intensity images of the full Sun at 17 GHz near local noon by combining aontours and shading. This data set will be used for studies of quiet phenomena on the Sun or activities with time scales longer than days. This will be also used as the database for the studies of interplanetary space and solar terrestrial relations.
Digital data are available through the Internet and also in digital media upon request. High cadence data are also available upon request. Plots series of activity index with one second resolution are published in the separate databooks and are aosl available through the Internet.
