A prominence eruption at the south-eastern limb.(*)

(No flare was detected by NORH during its observing window.)

A sequence of 17GHz partial images (I component). FOV is 314" X 314", whose center is located at E83S20. Color is scaled to the maximum brightness temperature in individual images (at most Tb = 4 x 10^4 K). Blue lines show 10^4 K contour line.
Mpeg movie (10 min. interval) Solar east is up, and north is to the right.

SoHO/EIT 304A (He II) image taken at 01:20UT, just after a start of the eruption. A faint structure can be seen at the south-eastern limb.
